The Baylor School Psychology PhD program prepares health-service providers who apply scientific exploration and data-based decision-making in schools or other settings to support the academic development and psychological well-being of children and youth.
Professional Opportunities in Waco
Baylor University has many opportunities for PhD students to thrive clinically. The Baylor Center for Developmental Disabilities (BCDD) houses several clinics that focus on the developmental needs of children and adolescents. The Baylor Autism Resource Clinic (BARC) is housed in the BCDD and is coordinated by Dr. Kelsey Ragan, a licensed psychologist with her PhD in school psychology. The BARC provides opportunities for PhD students to participate in psychological and psychoeducational assessments, social skills groups, Autism assessments, and research.
